[VoteRescue] Could YOU hand-count paper ballots on November 4th?

Dear VoteRescuers, and all voting residents of Travis County, We are
trying to get a realistic idea, in a very short period of time, as to how
many Travis County voters could volunteer to be a poll worker on Election
Day, November 4th, if it meant that you would get to hand-count paper
ballots? As many of you know, (and many of you have helped us,) for years
we have approached officials at the County, State, and Federal
level about eliminating electronic voting systems because of the abundant
evidence of how easy it is to tamper with election results by hacking
into their secret software. Yet we're constantly told there could "never
be enough volunteers to hand-count a paper ballot election", which, of
course, is our solution to hacked e-voting machines. Let's just see about
that! This is all just hypothetical for now, but here is the question:
If you knew that you could hand-count paper ballots on Election Day,
would you, - and COULD you - volunteer to be a poll worker all
day? (This scenario would be for Travis County voters only, and would
mean a commitment to work all day, from about 6am until possibly 10 or 11
pm.) DURING THE NEXT THREE DAYS, we are trying to get a head-count of
potential volunteers who, if called upon, could and would meet that
commitment. WOULD YOU spend a day at the polls - to be able to
hand-count paper ballots and help secure honest election results? IF SO,
please reply to ME, with your full name, Travis County address, and phone
number. THEN, forward this e-mail to every other Travis County voter you
know who might be willing to help out, IF NEEDED. THANK YOU!
Let's pull some wonderful volunteer numbers together, and prove that
Travis County voters are willing to show up to do the work on Election
Day, if it means hand-counting our paper ballots! Vickie (and Karen) 775-3737
